The everyday ritual of jewelry

Every morning starts with the same little rituals: I make myself a mug of Nescafé, before which I do not want to hear a single word from another human being, I head out half awake with Bella, my wonderful little dog, and only once we are back do I finally get dressed.

More or less in what has become my everyday uniform: jeans, a T shirt and a simple cotton or wool knit. I usually manage a barely there touch of makeup, then I open my jewelry box and put on a pair of earrings, a chain and a few rings.
Gold or silver, depending on the mood.
I think everyone can wear both. We could talk endlessly about color analysis and undertones, but I believe the first rule should always be to choose what makes you feel good. And, of course, I like both.
Jewelry is that detail that makes me feel put together, complete. Even when I am dressed in the most basic way, or maybe especially then, I choose it because it dresses me. And then I simply keep it on from morning to night: while I work, when I go out, when I visit suppliers, at a meeting, at the supermarket, over an aperitivo with a friend or at dinner with my boyfriend. I may change my shoes or my bag, but the jewelry stays.

There is another thing I have seen change over the years: the way we choose what to buy.
