Pastài - Our first course

Let me introduce Pastài, the first chapter of Àpini Studio.

Pastai are pasta makers, working through precise, repeated gestures shaped by tradition.

I chose pasta as a source of inspiration because I recognize many of Àpini’s own values in it.
Like jewelry, pasta is rooted in craftsmanship. It begins with the hands, with raw materials, and with the slow transformation of simple elements.

It is Made in Italy, deeply connected to place and identity, yet at the same time part of a much wider international culture.
Pasta means home, family, memory, warmth, presence and sharing. It belongs to everyday life and to special occasions, from the neighborhood trattoria to a three Michelin star restaurant.

It is simplicity and geometry. Its shapes are essential, pure and instantly recognizable. Light moves across the surface, creating rhythm and repetition. The same qualities live in Àpini jewelry, in its proportions and in the points of light that interact with the body.

It is nourishment and it is contemporary. It is ready in just a few minutes. Ready to eat, ready to wear.
